All equipment and materials are included in each class - simply bring yourself or a friend, or two! Please wear appropriate footwear, as the studio is accessed via a bridge (and exercise caution as surfaces may be slippery where terrain is uneven).Reserve your spot below with NAME - Your registration is confirmed once you receive an email confirmation. Payment is cash only and is due at the time of your session.Once the firing process is complete, you can collect your finished piece on Sundays between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

Hi, I’m NAME - a pottery artist in Weston, Maine. Whether you’re looking to learn slip casting or glaze your own piece, I offer classes for all experience levels.All materials are included in each class and your kiln-fired piece will be available for pickup once the firing process has been completed. Simply bring yourself, or a friend or two!I also showcase handmade pottery pieces available for purchase in my gift shop, which is open by appointment only. By booking a pottery lesson, attending a class, purchasing artwork, or entering the studio of Peekaboo Pottery, you agree to the following terms and conditions:Participants agree to follow all verbal and written safety instructions. Failure to follow instructions or misuse of tools or equipment may result in removal from the studio without refund.Assumption of RiskBy participating in pottery lessons or studio activities, you voluntarily acknowledge and accept that there are inherent risks associated with ceramics, including but not limited to:Minor cuts, scrapes, burns, or injuries
Exposure to clay, glaze materials, or studio materials
Accidental breakage of ceramic pieces
Damage to clothing or personal belongings
Injuries resulting from improper use of tools or equipmentYou voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.Release and Waiver of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Peekaboo Pottery, its owner(s), instructors, volunteers, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from participation in pottery lessons or use of studio facilities.This includes claims related to:Accidental injury
Property damage
Breakage of personal artwork
Loss of personal belongings
Participation in studio activitiesTemperature and Seasonal Weather ConditionsYour safety is our top priority.Peekaboo Pottery reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule classes due to hazardous or questionable weather or other conditions affecting safety. The studio is located in a rustic setting and is not equipped with air conditioning. Participants acknowledge that indoor temperatures may vary with seasonal weather conditions and agree to dress appropriately. Unless otherwise notified by Peekaboo Pottery, classes will proceed as scheduled. Participants are responsible for determining whether weather or travel conditions make it safe for them to attend and are encouraged to reschedule if they have safety concerns.MinorsParticipants must be over the age of 18.Studio Safety RequirementsParticipants agree to inform the studio of any condition, limitation, allergy, or concern that may affect safe participation.Access to the studio requires crossing a bridge and walking over uneven, hilly, and sometimes slippery terrain. If you have accessibility questions or require an accommodation, please contact us before booking so we can discuss available options.
For personal safety, participants are required to wear appropriate footwear, such as closed-toe shoes with good traction and adequate support. High heels, sandals, flip-flops, or footwear that does not provide proper stability are not recommended and may increase the risk of slips, trips, falls, or injury.Participants acknowledge responsibility for choosing appropriate footwear and safely navigating the property. By entering the studio premises, participants assume the risks associated with walking over uneven outdoor surfaces and agree to exercise reasonable caution.Pottery Breakage and CracksCeramics are fragile and require multiple stages of production, including drying, glazing, and kiln firing.Participants understand and agree that:-Pottery pieces may crack, break, warp, or experience unexpected changes during drying, glazing, firing, or handling.
-Breakage or imperfections may occur despite reasonable care.
Kiln firing results cannot be guaranteed.
-Participants will not hold the studio responsible for natural ceramic failures, including cracking, glaze changes, warping, or kiln-related outcomes.Personal BelongingsParticipants are responsible for personal belongings brought into the studio. The studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.Pick Up Times and Refund PolicyAll pottery classes, workshops, studio sessions, gift shop purchases, and custom orders are final. Refunds, returns, exchanges or credits are not available.If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, please contact us as soon as possible. Any rescheduling requests are made solely at our discretion and are not guaranteed.Kiln-fired pieces require drying, glazing (if applicable), and firing times that vary depending on production schedules. Finished pieces will be available for pickup after the firing process has been completed. Pickup days are held on Sundays. Customers are responsible for collecting their completed work during the designated pickup times.Force MajeureThe studio is not liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by severe weather, power outages, natural disasters, emergencies, or events beyond its reasonable control.Right to Remove ParticipantsPeekaboo Pottery reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or places others at risk. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.DamageParticipants are responsible for damage caused by intentional misconduct, reckless behavior, or failure to follow studio instructions.Medical EmergencyIn the event of a medical emergency, participants authorize Peekaboo Pottery to obtain emergency medical assistance on their behalf if they are unable to do so. Participants are responsible for all medical expenses incurred.Unclaimed Artwork & Abandoned PiecesCustomers are responsible for picking up their completed pottery pieces during the designated pickup days. Finished kiln-fired pieces will be held for a period of 90 days after the first available pickup date.If a piece is not collected within this timeframe and no prior arrangements have been made, it may be considered abandoned. Unclaimed pieces may be donated, discarded, or otherwise handled at the studio’s discretion. No refunds, replacements, credits, or compensation will be provided for artwork that is not picked up within the stated timeframe.Customers who need additional time to collect their pieces must contact the studio in advance to request an extension. Extensions are not guaranteed and are granted solely at the studio’s discretion.Agreement to TermsBy booking, attending, purchasing, or entering the premises, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
